Friends from India, I urgently need help. Mylot has just made payments to my Paypal account. Now I see that Paypal has 2 options of payment: 1 is to transfer to your Bank by email and 2 is to request for a cheque. When I went to my Paypal account withdraw section under email I saw that Paypal charges $5.00 as transaction fee, $15.00 as return fee and the minimum withdraw amount is $150.00. Is this correct? If so, it will take me ages to reach more than $150! And then the rules state that I must claim my money by June 10 or else it goes back to Mylot! What’s all this? How do you friends, who are based in India like me, claim your payments? Another confusion is how do I add my local Calcutta bank’s name? Under banks, I saw listing of only US banks. Please, please respond!!!

so sudipta keep the amount in paypal and go to ebay and do online shopping and finally select paypal and give ur paypal information so by these u are not paying any extra fees for shopping and it is also get the full amount back to u by shopping!

Hi Jayant,
ya, i just learnt that i cant withdraw money from Paypal till i accumulate $150 otherwise I have to shop at ebay. OK, that’s fair enough for me. Now tell me something, if I have recd payment of say $15.50 can I buy goods worth the entire amount or what is the minimum / maximum amount I can buy for? If I buy say $10.00 goods, does the remaining $5.50 go back to my mylot account and get accumulated there? What is the procedure for online shopping at ebay? I’ve never done it before, so pls help.

yes if u shop for $10 and remaining amount will be still in paypal and the procedure is goto shopping site and select the goods to buy and finally in payment order select payment details to paypal and tell ur paypal username and password so u can get the product and the remaining amount remains in Paypal only.

jayant pls help!
I went to ebay as advised by you and selected ebay India. But all payment options are for PaisaPay. I can see no PayPal options. Are both same? Pls pls reply

Dear sudipta
You see Paisa Pay is a service of Ebay India .. and paypal -- normally used by international customers .. So you need to find the sellers who accepts paypal .. You can ask them whether they will accept paypal or not .. If they agrees you can make payment to them through your paypal account -- Send money option and entering their paypal id ..
