Well congratulations, pa L., I am happy for ya, part of success in life, is when you get to a position, of where you work at a job that you actually love doing! That's where I'm at , at this point in my life, and I enjoy it! Will you be working there, in the state of Penn., you won't have to move will you? What does your family think!

Thank you. I will be doing what I love. I'll be stationed not too far from my home, at for the moment I'll be working strictly here in PA. But, that could change once I get my paperwork sent up from Texas, then they could possibly send me down south to help out when needed. They also have a Search and Rescue Team here that I would love to be a part of, just have to get the training! lol As for the family, my guy knows how excited I was when I got the news, and he knows that's what I love and is very supportive. My daughters think it's great, specially my youngest who wants to get into the field also. My mom and sister were excited for me and my dad, well I'm pretty sure everyone back home knows! He's my biggest fan!

That is awesome. Congratulations on a very demanding and important job. I am very happy for you. I will hope there are not to many wildfires this year. Seems like they get worse every year.Enjoy your new job and be careful.

Thank you for the encouragement. I know I'll enjoy every minute of it, and although there is nothing like being on the front line, we always hope that there will be no need for it.

Oh yes, a long time coming. I can remember when you first started with the volunteer taking calls then out helping to fight the fires here in Texas. I never dreamed this many years later you would be in another state and fixing to fight fires and get paid for doing something you love. CONGRATULATIONS MY FRIEND, BE SAFE.

Thank you, more than a few of our chat sessions were cut short by my pager go off! lol It has been a long time coming, but worth all the studying and experience I gained there in Texas. I'm still pinching myself to make sure that phone call was real, but I also received a letter of confirmation yesterday, so hereeee I go again! lol
