fairies, folletti, gnomi trolls

hehe. nice? do you think so? have you read any old fairytales? most traditions associated with fairies are to keep them away. they were beleived to steal babies and children and replace them with changelings. they were beleived to take milk from cows. the horseshoe is considered lucky because it is made of iron, which keeps fairies away. this is why they would be hung near cots. I do beleive in Fairies, as is quite common in the Westcountry, but I certainly don't think they're nice.

Hmm, I may have read something when I was younger, but can't remember. I mostly saw cartoons or stuff like that. Yeah, seems like they aren't very nice in most stories.
