How to be rid of blackbirds

Has anyone had trouble with blackbirds nesting and lving in your attic?I do, they have made them a home right above my bedroom ,actually right above my bed.They tweet all day ,loudly, and then at night scratch and claw and sound terrible all night.I haven't had a good nights sleep since they have moved in.I need my new neighbors to move away or die or something!Instead of How to Kill a Mockingbird, How to Kill A Blackbird?! Help, I don't know how to get them out.And I can't get into the attic,I can't fit into the hole, and I can't climb to the roof either, scared of heights.Any ideas?

yikes,you migt have to call someone to have them removed and to fix the spot they came in at. I would'nt climb up to the roof myself either. Other than that I have no idea what you could put up there to make them leave except maybe a hungry cat.

LOL! I have thought of the cat deal, but then I think,no, I know my dads hound dogs will eat them! So I can't do that.I like cats too much to do that to them.LOL!Thanks
