How was your mother's day? What did you do? We had a nice family breakfast, then my parents came to visit for a while and we set up my kids new swingset outside. Then we went to a resteraunt to have dinner with my inlaws. It was a great day!! How about you?

I had a very nice Mother's Day. My husband and the kids let me sleep in while they went out and got me breakfast. When they got home my son carried in my food to me in bed and my daughter brought me in a card from them. Mind you now my kids are only 3 and 4 years old. It was so sweet to hear them both say at the same time Happy Mother's Day Mommy! They had me on the verge of tears. Then the rest of the day I just layed around and did absolutly NOTHING! My husbands treat for me was he cooked steak on the grill for dinner. What a wonderful way to spend Mother's Day!!!!

my mother's day was like any other day. i did housework and moewd the lawn. i put up the pool and my daughter's jumping castle. the neighbour girl came over to play so i watched her for 3 hours. oh and i also did laundry. i did however get a very nice gift from my daughter. it was a beautiful windchime angel. and then for supper i was tired of working all day so we just went and got some mcdonald's for supper and brought it home, so at least i didn't have to cook.

Well my first Mohter's Day was just like any other day of my life unfortunately. My husband had to work all day because he is a restaurant manager so I cleaned an mowed the lawn. I hope next year will be different. We will be celebrating Mother's day this Thursday.

My Mother's Day was great! I was so afraid it was going to be so sad because it was the first Mother's DAy without my mama but many, many prayers and support it turned out to be greatq! My husband helped cook breakfast for me and my kids. My husband gave me a large angel to put in our Dogwood Memory Garden. Then we went to church all my kids and their families. We came home for dinner. And as I walked in the they kids and grandkids has a huge ceramic deer buck sitting in my dining room to go in my Dogwood Memory Garden! Then after everyone left, I actually took a nap and then we went back to church. It was a great day! I'm glad you had a great day too.

I had a nice mothers day. I had a call from my 18 yr old son on Saturday telling me happy mothers day. I told him he was a day early and then he informed me that he wouldn't be over after all on Sunday as he and his girlfriend went out of town. I was very sad about this. On Sunday I tried to be in a good mood, but it was the first time I wouldn't be with all my kids on mothers day. My other 3 children and I met my side of the family for breakfast buffet. There were 14 of us all together. It was very nice. After breakfast I had to drop my 16 yr old off at work and my 13 & 6 yr old and I spent the day together (hubby was working). We went out for ice cream as lunch!! Later in the day I sat in the sun while my kids played basketball. We had my mother in law over for a cookout for dinner and dessert. It was very nice. My oldest did end up coming home early and stopping by around 8pm. It made me very happy to see him. Later that night I found out that my 13 yr old and my 16 yr old had both called him and told him that he should be here to spend some time with me on mothers day. I thought that was so nice of my 13 & 16 yr old and they didn't even know that the other was calling to get him home. I had a great day and was happy to spend some time with all my children.
