how to punish the naughty student in class? could you give me some advice?thanks

if you were a teacher in the middle school and you have several naughty students in class,you had tried your best to educate the student who always talking in class but it no use.finally, you decide to punish the student.
my question is: how to punish the naughty student like that?thank you very much.

What age is middle school? I dont know the american system ((or if its a different country)) so please tell me how old they are then i can tell you how to deal with it

Hi,laiyongjun!
Personally,I wonder the "naughty" student in class is just the student who wants to attract more attention from others,especially the little boys.The "naughty" student is common in primary school,little pupil always wants to be a pop one among students.But someone can be appreciated from teachers and parents,but someone not.So that for the "naughty" student,he/she just wants to be a big one in class.
I don't think punishment is an efficient way of intruducting students.Teachers should pay more attention on these students,talk to them a lot in a friendly way,and then tell them what is right and what is wrong.Little student needs guide but not punishment.

1:copy the textbook for three times,lol.Good way,isn't it?
2:ask he or she recite the textbook
3:out of the class
4:clean the classroom for at least one week
5:assign him or her many extra homework
