Have you heard of the liquid band-aid? I had bought some and ran out and got a paper cut. I used super glue and it worked perfect! My son got a gash on his head while working and all they had was superglue and he used it. It worked! Just wanted to let y'all in on this great tid-bit of helps.

Its amazing what they keep bringing out to help us these days as every little helps when we need a fast remedy. Medicine is changing at a very fast rate these days and there is always something new.

Yes, and to be able to use household items and thinks we have around the house is even greater! I love it when I can use products for more than one thing.

My mother received a bad cut on her chin a few years back and the ER doctor used special glue instead of stitches to fix it. It's really amazing stuff, it doesn't sting and you don't need another trip to the doctor or hospital to get it removed as the glue just disolves. It also helped not leave too much of a scar.

Yes, no stitches or more visits to dr. The glue just peels away. The super glue works great in its place just stings a little bit. IT does work!

I have heard of that, but I've never tried it. It's good to know it works. I've been told that is what they use in hospitals, but I don't know if that is true or not.

I believe mostly what the hospitals use is the product like liquid band-aid. That is just my opinion but super glue is much cheaper.

OMG...i use the stuff ('liquid band-aid', 'new-skin') A LOT! especially in the summer. i get blisters and such from sandals, and band-aids, just sweat off, never stick...this stuff stays and burns a little at first, but helps the sandals not rub me raw! i use it on my son a lot too. unless it is a major open, bleeding wound, but it's great for blisters and papercuts especially! BUT never thought of superglue? is it safe if it gets into a wound? that is a GREAT use of superglue though! thanks for sharing!!

I know my son had the open wound from the concrete block hitting him in the forehead and they put suger glue on it and it didn't infect it at all. It is healing nicely.
