Ten years from now, how would you like to watch your TV?

Hi. I'm a newbie here, but I love the discussions going on here with all you people from around the world! It's a new kind of community it seems, not a traditional forum.
I work in television, and the one question that makes me wonder about my own job in a few years from now: how will television be consumed by average blokes like me? You may have heard of developments such as Joost (http://joost.com) which is in beta, or NBC etc trying to start their own "Youtube Killer" networks.
Does this mean that these kinds of "IPTV" (I think is what they're being called today) will become prevalent? Would you really like to catch your soap or sitcoms on a PC or on a mobile screen?!
For the uninitiated here's a simple primer to IPTV that I found useful: http://blogs.pcworld.com/tipsandtweaks/archives/004369.html
Look forward to your thoughts!
