Are there any art card artists on here? If so, what do you think about the discussions happening in various forums about the sale of ATCs (and calling them ACEOs).

What does ACEO stand for? I have mixed feelings about this - I mean the movement was started as a trading thing... but on the other hand, people should be able to sell their own art...

ACEO stands for Art Cards Editions and Originals. They were renamed when people who aren't artists wanted to start a collection through purchases. These are still the same size and follow the same "creative guidelines" as an ATC, but they're sold to those who don't want to trade. This concept is similar to those who want baseball cards, but don't want to trade them . . . they have to get them somewhere.
