I have 4 concert tickets to a sold out show the end of June. We (my husband) and I haven't quite decided if we will go and use 2 of the tickets. My questions is when and how is the best way to sell them and make some money? Is it better to sell all 4 together or 2 at once? Should I wait till it gets closer or sell now? Is it better to sell on Ebay or Craigslist, or something else?
Thanks for your help.

Technically it is illegal to sell the tickets for more than 1% of face value, but I think each state is different. So you may want to check local laws. In SC it can't be more than $1 above face value. Also, if you want to sell on ebay, there could be other restrictions as well. So you may not make any money, but you can make back your money lost. Good luck.

Thanks, it is legal in the state I live to charge more for the tickets. So, do you think craigslist is better?

I have sold tickets on E-bay before. I never got more money for them, but I at least got my money back. If I knew I only need the two tickets or the possibility of using the two tickets, I would go ahead and sell two now. Normally people are only looking for two anyways. It is hard to sell 4 together, in my experience. I go to a lot of concerts so that has been my experience. I don't know much about Craigslist so I can't help you there.
What concert is this for? I am being noisy. LOL :-)

I would think ebay, I don't know if you can use paypal with craigslist. But I would ONLY accept paypal or CASH for concert tickets. People can screw you over by writing bad checks, and you won't know until you try to cash it.
I use ebay because I can sell through paypal and it offers me some protection from fraudulent buyers that way. That's just my 2 cents.

Generally I don't and Haven't.
Although if you can't sell them before the show, go down to it and sell them to ticket sellers. Don't accept less if you do that because they sell them for hundreds more and often do :)
