I dont need to change my mobile every year because its make only to expense money. What is the important is that i have money to used when in case of emergency. The importance of mobile is you can used to call and send messages to my loved ones. Its not for being proud when you have new model of mobiles. Its better to put money in the bank and not to expence money for material things.

I used to change my mobile phone every 2-3 months, some 3 years back. But now, I dont feel like changing my mobile often. Earlier, it was the case that i missed many features in my mobile, so I go for the next model or brand.
But currently the situation is that you get almost all the features you need even at the low cost models. Meaning, once you buy some high end model today, there wont be any need for you to change your model for the next 3 years, I believe. I have been using my current model for almost 2.5 years.. Still working good !

I am not in a position to buy a good phone that will last long as am still unemployed. So, i use to change my phone atleast once a year or sometimes twice, it depends on the need. As i cannot go for expensive ones like nokia with good power backup, mostly i go for sony ericsson as its less expensive than nokia here in our country.

Not a rule of once a year may be earlier or late but I like to experience the newer model it gives some changes and using the additional facilities coming on daily in the newer version.
