DWTS 5/14/07 - Busy Voting Tonight

Voting must be really high tonight because I cannot get through to vote! Lots of 10's tonight. I didn't get to see all of it yet, but I taped it and look forward to watching it all later. What I saw was just fantastic. I hate it that Apolo didn't get to get his perfect 60, but hopefully he has the fan support to get through to next week. I knew that Joey would bring it tonight to (hopefully) stay out of the bottom 2. Laila was great. I didn't see either of Ian's dances, but I read online that he did great, so I look forward to seeing it. Still, he is my favorite to go. What does everyone else think? And, is anyone else getting through to vote?

I got all my voting in both online and on the phone. I had some trouble on the phone, and I didn't catch Apolo's phone number so I only managed to vote for Leila and Joey - twice for Leila and 3 times for Joey. Online I voted for Apolo once. I didn't vote for Ian at all. I think it's time for him to go.

I didn't have any problems, but I try to vote towards the beginning of the show. A little hint on remembering the phone numbers. What I normally do is at the beginning of the season I write down all the conestants, the 800 number, and what each contestants number is. So that way everyweek I already have the numbers and don't have to worry about missing them.

I must have been thinking about American Idol, when the voting doesn't start til the show is over!

I wasn't voting before because in most cases, like American Idol, Canadians can't vote. But then at the last minute I realized they were 1-800 numbers and that we probably could vote. So I didn't catch the first phone number.

I got my votes in online, on my home phone and on my husband's cell phone and also his work cell phone. If my son had been here I would have used his cell phone also. haha I know everyone is going to hate me for this but I have to agree with Len about Apolo's chacha, it was nothing but "dirty dancing" to me. This season is so interesting and too many good dancers in the end. I am looking forward to tonight but then again I hate to see anyone leave. Maybe they should just let all 4 couples compete until the end of the season and combine all scores and phone calls?!?!

I wouldn't do that to you! You were very nice in the way you said it and we're all entitled to our opinions. It's when people get mean about it that I start hitting the minus sign!

By the time I get home from work and watch the show, it's way to late to vote. I am not sure who will go tonight, but it should be Laila or Ian. Don't get me wrong, they are good, but just not as good as Joey and Apolo. I also can't wait to see Enrique! Woo Hoo!

Yeah I know what you mean about the voting. In years passed I always waited until the end to try and vote. But now I vote at the very beginning of the show so that I can get my votes in. I also agree with you on Apollo should have gotten a perfect score. See my discussion "Apolo and Julliana were robbed!!!" It was not fair at all.

I think Ian and Cheryl will go tonight. They did good, but Joey and Apollo are great. Lila is good, but I really think the competition is between Joey and Apollo. I can't wait to see those two free style.

p.s. I did get one vote in for Joey, but when I tried again later and tried for Apollo I couldn't get through.
