Cleaning Beads

I inherited (for lack of a better term) a lot of beads. These beads had been sitting in water for quite a long time. The water was growing things. That being said, I want to clean them. The beads are jade, wood, ceramic, crystal, turquoise, etc. A wide variety. I'd like suggestions on the best way to clean them. I'm considering just filling a bowl with Lysol and putting them all in it for a couple days.
