Describe your perfect mate. What is it that you look for?

I like it all, haha!! Really though humor and smarts are on the top of my list. I like someone that can joke with me and not take me seriously all the time! Good thing I found my hubby. He is good at this!! About the good looking men, based on my past relationships and some friends of mine, I have determined (well not really, but I like to play smart LOL), that even the non good looking men cheat often! Don't let looks deter you!

I don't think there is a perfect mate. My husband is as close as I will get and he is far from perfect! I am attracted to good looking men and my husband is pretty good looking. He is very good to me and he loves me very much. We have withstood many tests in our relationship and have surpassed them all. He is intelligent and his soldiers respect him. He has worked hard to get where he is. When we divorced the first time he went downhill fast. He lost everything, his self respect, his drive, his looks and his heart. He just didn't care anymore. Then something happened a few years ago and he pulled it back together and has been working hard ever since. We are now back together and remarried. In the past, looks have not been the most important aspect of a mate. I really like a good sense of humor, intelligent conversation, wit and a common respect for each other. I have all of those things now.

I have always had a preference for tall guys. The taller the better I say. LOL But really besides being tall I like an honest man. One who won't just tell me what I want to hear. I have always liked a guy who treated me fairly. A man who is willing to do anything that he will ask me to do. It took me a long time to find a man like this so I can say that a good man really is hard to find.

This is so funny because I know what you mean about the faithfulness. I used to be the same way with my husband before we got married. I used to think he was so cute to me and I fell in love with him and he was the sweetest person, so respectful and the best ever. I never really feared it until I started working and we didn't get to spend as much time together. I knew to me I was still physically attracted to him but really didn't think that a lot of other women thought so too until we went to a friends house and this girl he worked with tried to be with him I freaked out on him and everything. Then we had a long talk about our realtionship and he told me everything that I wanted to hear. That is when I realized I have him as my bf and he even told that girl and her friends that he thought I was the best gf he has ever had and would never want to give me up or jepordize us for some fling. Made me feel so much better and we are still in love more than ever now and we have a baby together now and has just made us so close. I have never really wanted a really handsome man though I would always just settle for cute as long as he was sweet and treated me good. The really good looking ones are cocky, and just mean. I fell in love with my husband before we even met in person so when i met him in person it just made everything so much better.
