Matthew 6:33 "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." This is God's precious promise to each of us. Those who have obeyed this promise have been prosperous and successful in whatever endeavours we have. When we worry too much about our future, we should not seek the way we can make much money. But we must seek God first until we find him, and until we find the way to solve our problems. In making our decisions, we must include God always. We must learn to depend on God for our future.

That is a very inspiring verse! I'm struggling a little trying to keep God first because I am so easily distracted by so many worldly influences. The world's way is definitely not God's way and the world can so easily lead you astray if not careful. Thanks so much for sharing this verse. It's one that I really needed to hear in my time of trial!

One in Old Testment Psalms 118:22 "The stone that th buliders rejected has become the chief cornerstone." This verse always remind me not to care the attitude from people around me too much, and enhanced me a sea of confidence to do things Another in new Testment Matthew 5:5 "Blessed are the mee, for they will inherit the earth." It changed my character since I read this, from quick-tempered to tender and quiet.

Hi, this is Ellen Im a new member of mylot. Phil 4:13 is also my favorit verse because in any ocassion of my life especially if I am to minister to sombody else I always quote this verse. I am a worship leader in our church, and my voice is not so strong and good, but the Lord promote me to be a worship leader, even though my voice is not so good. And Im surprised that whenever I worship the Lord many people blessed, I received positive feedbacks, and whenvever I stand in his presence I know that it is not my ability of singing that count most but how you prepare your heart in worshiping the Lord. I hate singing because I have fear in my heart because my voice is not so good , but the Lord want me to worship Him and lead also people to worship him, I know whenever I stand to minister to Him this verse is always on my mind. Another verse that inspire me is - it is not by might, nor by power but by my spirit, says the Lord. Whenever I stand to lead others to worship this verse is also in my mind. And Im amazed with what the Lord is doing; I feel his presence whenever I worsip Him. The first time I'm scheduled as a worship leader, I got sick, I got fever and I vomit any food I eat. But then I prayed to the Lord if its His will for me to stand, He will heal me. I convinced myself to stand and to practice the song I prepared. At the time I was about to minister, In not feeling well but I continue to worship Him and lead others in His throne, and I was amazed God instantly healed me, and many were blessed, at that time. Sometimes I heard His voice, I'm receiving message from the Lord and I tell it to the congregation, and I'm surprised to hear that are encouraged. I know it is not me who accomplished this things but the Holy Spirit in me. Singing is my weaknes, but God said in my weakness His power will be displayed, so whenever I stand to lead worship it reminds that it is not of who I am that God is using me but because of who He is, it is not my adequacy or my talent that counts but what important is, your heart, you must have a clean heart and a willingness to obey Him and use by Him for His own glory.
