Is it true that hair grows back thicker after shaving?

Hey guys, what do you think of this? Most of my friends says it would. Is it really true?

Maybe there's a little truth about this,based on my experienced whenever I shaved my beard, it will just grow faster in 2 days time. I don't really know if there are connection, maybe it's in the gene of the person itself.

I don't think you so. Maybe it is true to a baby. My hair is thicker before I attend work. At that time I almost not shave my hair .After i attend work ,i shave some times hair ,but my hair not grows back thicker ,now my hair dearth before my shaving. I don't konw the really reason .Though many people tell me hair grows back thicker after shaving.

Ohh really, I also wonder if there is a scientific proof for this for both true and not.
