Reading silently or loudly,which you prefer?

I like reading loudly and everyday i will use an hour to read english loudly. but if i read a long story,i prefer read silently which can help me to read fast.what do you do?

What you do is just the very common way people do with their reading. Reading a story book or a theory book, you need to read it silently in order to understand it better or to absorb more of the story. But reading English aloud is not exactly kind of reading, it's language learning; and learning a language needs to read aloud. I think no one would read a serious book aloud, but you can read a story aloud to other people.

most of the time, reading in silence i prefer and that i understand whatever that is read. i do sometimes read loudly but i do this when we're two and having one book so i reading to the hearing of my colleague or friend.

I prefer to read silently as speed is more if you read silently. But I know some persons who are unable to understand what they are reading if they are reading it silently.Somehow I do not like those who read loudly and disturb others.

but when you speak loudly,you also can recognize the sound of the article,which can improve your sense of a language,of course we should do that as we are alone.
