Make a list of all the bad habits you feel you have and determine to tackle just one or a few at a time. The only way to make a change is by self-discipline (which is really a sincere desire to make a change for the better). Make a list, also, of 10 things you want to achieve in life. Be specific. For example, don't just write "I want to make money": write, instead, "I want to increase my income by $xxx by this time next year." Your goals should be SMART - S - specific, significant M - measurable, meaningful, motivational A - agreed upon, attainable, achievable, acceptable, action-oriented R - realistic, relevant, reasonable, rewarding, results-oriented T - time-based, timely, tangible, trackable You should read this list of goals to yourself frequently. One technique is to look at yourself in the mirror and 'tell yourself' your goals at least once a day - in the morning or just before bed. Some people advise collecting pictures of things that represent your goals - cars, houses, holiday destinations, pictures of successful people and people you admire. This helps to put your goals deep into your consciousness. With the 'Bad Habits' list, you will probably find that breaking the first few habits is the hardest, so choose ones which you feel you can easily change. Give yourself a week or a month or however long you feel you can accomplish it in and review your list after that time (weekly is best, really). Concentrate more on the positive things - your Goals - than on the negative. You will find that, by concentrating on the positive, you will be more motivated and less prone to what you now think of as the hurdles of bad habits and you will simply rise above them.

I suggested a list of 10 goals. Some people suggest fewer - seven, for example. The important thing is to make the list reasonably short. A list of ideas that you can easily bring to mind during the day at odd moments (this is why images are very potent). If you make a list of ten things, you may find that you can merge some together into one goal because achieving one will naturally lead to achieving another. Seven is a good number, often considered 'lucky'. Your feelings about 'luck' are important - they open your mind to possibilities that you might otherwise ignore. 'Luck' is actually less important in success than you might think when looking at other successful people. Success comes from keeping the mind open to recognise possibilities when they arise and being able to say 'Yes, I will try this' rather than 'No, I don't feel confident enough to try it'. It is most important, when reading your list of goals to yourself, to tell yourself repeatedly that you are a good person and that you have value to yourself and others. Believe in yourself and your ability to achieve your goals. Others have done so and they are basically no different from you. They have also struggled with a lack of confidence in themselves and with the bad habits they may have accumulated. You CAN be the same.

You will be what you eat.Our body and mind is made up of things what you eat. According to saints in india food are of three types satvic, rajasic, tamasic.meat ,eggs, fish, onions, garlic, chilli, tea, cofee, salt, white flour etc are rajasic food ,rajasic foods will make your mind restless, you will have cravings for all the things in the world and it will not give you any peace.it will increase passion .it will produce evil thoughts, excitement etc tamasic food will be stale rotten fried ,water less, dried, spicy, one has to eat a lot of these foods since the body doesnt get anything from this food.a person eat tamasic food will be tamasic means a good for nothing fellow always lazy ,lethargic, inertia will be a character of him. while satvic food make you a satvic person means clam, serene ,mind will be in rest always ,you will have concetration it will increase creativity ,positive thoughts.satvic foods are mainly fruits first then raw ve g and nuts, brown rice or wheat etc.take satvic food within two weeks your life is going to change your thougts will become more creative without any particular effort from your part . dont mix sweet fruits wiht sour fruits .dont add it wiht veg .take fruits separately .you may take milk along with sour fruits. take deep breath 50 times in the morning before 7.00 am or at any time a day this will also helps to create positvity .

In able for you to change bad habits into a good one, of course you have to examine yourself. How dependent you are into it. THe habit you were talking is unclear, but maybe this might help you. Check where is the problem and how it is been your habit. Have a will power, strong determination to avoid it. Seek more resources to avoid what your bad habit is. Be always concious in it, so you may know your improvement later on.
