I have not been as active on MyLot as I usually am, two weeks again I had Laporscopic surgery and they removed a cyst from my right ovary that was bigger than the ovary itself. Today I get my test results and have my follow-up appointment. The pain from the surgery comes and goes and I don't think that is normal. Has anyone every had a procedure like this before, if so, how long did it take you recover and be back to your normal self?

I had a hemoragic cyst on my right ovary and had it removed in 2000 by laparoscope. I am surprised you are having pain at all, I had very little pain and only on the first day. I would call your doctor, that doesn't sound normal to me.
Cysts are usually benign, the chances of them of being cancerous are quite slim, so I wouldn't worry too much.

I had my first laparoscope in 1992 and life you after the first day I was fine, that is why I am so suprised that I am still getting pain from this. Three days after the surgery I ended up back at the hospital and they did a CAT scan of my abdomen and said everything looked fine. I just don't understand why I am still hurting.

I have never had this type of surgery. But I do want to say I'm praying for you and your health and your test results and hope you feel better! God Bless!
