Shrimp. Squid. Mushrooms. Parmesan. Creamy sauce. Pasta. Yes, these are the ingredients of my favorite--seafood pasta. How about you? What makes your stomach jacknife in extreme anticipation? What's your favorite pasta? If possible, kindly state where such pasta is available. Thanks!

my favorite Italian Pasta is Fettuccine which has a lot of cheese. HHmm.... I think I'm gonna make it tonight for my dinner. How about you? You also like the one with lots of cheese?

Absolutely, nyumix! Cheese definitely further enriches the deliciously rich taste of Fettuccine and it truly adds pleasure to my dining experience. By the way, do you cook your own pasta or do you buy it from somewhere else? If you do cook it, do you have a special recipe to share like mycharm88? Thanks a lot for your fine contribution and Happy myLotting! ;)

I used to make spaghetti and macaroni salad before coz spaghetti is a favorite of my sons. But now when my sons want to eat spaghetti, we just eat out or buy that on the restaurant or fast food chain. For me, I like the carbonara with chicken that we eat at Venetto when my officemates and I go there to eat out. I also like pasta with sea foods like the one you mentioned here.

Yes, I don't cook anymore spaghetti, except for some very special occassion when I am in the mood to cook...hahaha. I am usually tired in working at office, so better to buy ready-to-eat food. Sorry for the late reply, coz i just log in now after some days.

When you say, "I used to make spaghetti and macaroni salad before coz spaghetti is a favorite of my sons," and "now when my sons want to eat spaghetti, we just eat out or buy that on the restaurant or fast food chain," would it be proper to assume that you do not cook spaghetti and macaroni salad for your sons anymore? I do not, in any way, intend to be intrusive, but if my assumption is correct, may I ask why you no longer cook your sons' favorite pasta for them? Thanks a lot for openly sharing your thoughts in regard the topic, joyce959! I really value your contribution to this discussion. Happy myLotting! ;)

Hello acmepride!!! Ohh among pasta recipies, i love spaghetti and chicken macaroni salad. I have my own recipe of spaghetti. And most all who tasted it said that it was very delicious. It was only out of experiment that i came up with the recipe and most of my friends where asking me to cook for them or ask for the recipe and how tos... I haven't tasted that pasta recipe you mentioned above, it sounded tasty for me, the mushroom, shrimp, squid and creamy sauce is mouth watering!!! Yum...yum..wish i could taste some of that. Do you prepare it yourself or bought it from a restaurant or foodchain? tc friend c",)

I sometimes prepare my own pasta, but the one in the picture, if I'm not mistaken, was from Chef D'Angelo. It seems that your spaghetti recipe is a sure favorite among your family and friends, mycharm88. Would it be ok for you to share your experimental spaghetti recipe or is it a personal secret? Thanks a lot for participating in this discussion, my friend. Tc as well and Happy myLotting! ;)

Actually its no longer a secret since most of my family and friends know the "secret", not much of expensive ingredients, just the usual ones. Just the usual spaghetti but i added my white sauce on top of cooked spaghetti and garnished with lots of cheeze. actually i make two types of sauce, the red and the white one...

You should definitely try it, Feona1962. Based on your statement, "I love everything you mentioned," am I correct in saying that your favorite pasta would be seafood pasta as well? If not, what's it and where's it available? Thanks a lot in advance for answering my questions and Happy myLotting! ;)

Spaghetti Calabrese - My very favourite pasta dish is a tomato based sauce with black olives and hot salami, garlic and spring onions (green onions or shallots). I like it on Linguini or even ravioli.
I prefer long pasta such as spaghetti (preferably thin), fettucini or (my favourite) linguini! (I don't mind the short pasta like spiralli and penne or shells, but the long pasta is my favourite!) I do like some of the cream based sauces such as Carbonara, but don't like seafood at all - especially not on pasta. No fishy sauces either. I love tomato based sauces such a Bolognaise or meatballs, but I really like the basically simple Napoli sauce - tomaoes and garlic. I don't even put basil in it. My very very favourite is tomato based with black olives and hot salami, garlic and spring onions (green onions or shallots). Add a touch of chilli. It's called Calabrese and is YUMMY!

My favorite is spaghetti. When I make it we eat it for dinner that night and then we always have some left over. Then the next night I take it and sprinkle shredded cheese over it and bake it.

That's really a very nice way of preserving your favorite pasta, sweetgirl_k1. If I may ask, though, how would you describe its taste compared to when you first served it? Does it still taste fresh and as delicious? Thanks a lot for your good post and Happy myLotting! ;)

In my family, my mother taught us to make a dish, we call "fideo", It's kinda like a spaghetti dish, but derived in the mexican culture! We use "vermicelli", tomato sauce, tomatoes, onion, cumino, hamburger meat, and since it is homemade it is so good! I've never seen it out in public to my knowledge! It's my secret, so don't tell anybody!

My all time favorite pasta is the spaghetti. It can be done in different style -- you can have italian, or the sweet style filipino pasta, etc. It's always present in our buffet table whenever we have gatherings at home.

Ooh, I love pasta! I also love seafood, but my favourite pasta is penne al arabbiata. It's penne pasta (the pasta tubes which are cut at an angle), topped with tomatoes spiced with chilli peppers. You can also add herbs, garlic and/or onions. It's really delicious and has a real kick to it! My second favourite pasta is penne with pesto. I love pesto sauce. I usually buy it in a jar, as I'm not sure I could make it as nicely as the prepared one. (Actually it's probably quite easy to do, but I haven't tried!) Pesto is made from basil, garlic and pine nuts, and it's really delicious.

Well, the only pasta I have tasted so far are the original Filipino-style Spaghetti (sweety), Italian-style spaghetti (with a pinch of salty) and Carbonara. Of the three, I prefer home-made cooked Filipino-style spaghetti. Now I'm hungry. :)~

I like pasta a lot ; be it seafood, just tuna, beef or chicken as long as it is in red sauce.I love tomatoes and i like it so much in pasta. I like cooking pasta sauce with real tomatoes not the canned tomato sauce. Once in a birthday of my niece , a friend of my sister cooked the spaghetti and i really loved the taste. I checked out his ingredients and they are just the common ones except for grounded dried oregano leaves. Unfortunately here in my area i find it hard to look for that herb.

Hey acmepride! Seafood pasta is one of my favorites too. Those shrimps are really mouth watering. Actually all the pasta in Chef D' Angelo are really yummy. =) I can whip a mean home cooked version of carbonara, spaghetti and chicken al pesto. I just love pasta! So these are my favorites. Carbonara can be with bacon or tuna or shrimps. Spaghetti with hotdogs or meatballs can be very satisfying. And the pesto with chicken is a good alternative for the red and white sauces. Happy eating! =)
