is friendship really a good foundation for a boy-girl relationship?

im scared to try to cross the line because some say that the good frienship will be ruined if i do it.. now, i want to have her as mine but im afraid that i might lose he because of trying to upgrade our friendship to something more special..

Yes friendship is a good foundation to start a relationship. Regarding your fear being true to what you feel and by telling her in a nice way would be a crucible to test your friendship and to know how she also feels for you, if she mean friends only then accept the reality and remain friends.
