If you have a child, was your first one a boy or girl? If you dont have one, but want kids, would you rather have a boy or girl? Or doesnt it matter?? I only have one so far, i have a boy. i'm kinda glad we had a boy first because now if we have a daughter she can have an older brother to watch out for her!!

My first born was a boy & my second born was a boy. It would have been nice to have a little girl that I could have spoiled to be like mom, but I wouldn't trade either of my boys for the world!

No, I don't plan on having anymore. Mine will be grown and out on their own soon enough ~ then it will be my time lol. I sure will miss them when they leave the nest though.

My oldest is a girl. She's 6 now. And even though she doesn't have an "older" brother to watch out for her she does have a "bigger" brother. My son is 5 and is already 2" taller then her and outweighs her by 10lbs.

My husband's nephew is already taller then me. And he is only 14. He's huge. He was the same height as me when he was 12. I'm 5'6". He's actually 6'1" I think and he isn't done growing yet.

i don't have a kid yet but really longing for one. I don't mind either as long as I have a child. I believe a child is a gift from God so I will accept a girl or a boy. It is fine with me...

I wanted a girl first (and got it). The next one I wanted a boy, but got a girl. The next one it didn't matter...got a boy. The last one I wanted to be a boy so I would have two of each. It was a boy!! My cousin has two girls from his first marriage. His new wife has two girl from her first marriage. Last year they had twins...two girls. I feel for my cousin because he is in a house full of girls!!

My first was a girl and the 2nd was a boy. It's the same way with my grandchildren -- oldest is a girl and the 2nd is a boy. That seems to run in my family. I was the oldest in my family and I had two younger brothers too.

My firstborn is a boy. I wouldn't care either way if I had a boy or girl next. Ideally one of each would be good, but I now know how to take care of a little boy.

I was a weird case. Since I remember myself, I always wanted to have a child and specifically a boy. When I got pregnant I was saying that I would do anly this one which is a boy and then I won't have another one. When I gave birth to my son I said the same. And I'm going to say it for the rest of my life., I wouldn't have another child since I know the second one could be a girl. I don't want to hve a daughter to pass all these in her life that I passed. lol

beautiful bethany
i have three kids, beth 8,reece 4 and luke 2.thats a girl and two boys.i wanted a girl my whole life and was overjoyed when beth came along, she is so beautiful i was overwhelmed with love for her.i was sure all my kids would be girls,i remember saying(oh no i dont do boys, wouldnt know where to start)i was shocked when i went for my scan with reece and i told its a boy.but having my boys has been every bit as precious as having beth.i adore them all, theyre all very different personalities but all just brilliant.they drive me nuts and exhaust me but i wouldnt change it for a moment.

I thought the same thing about little boys, i had no family members close in age that were male, so i was never really around little boys (5 and under) But now that i have my little man, i wouldnt trade him for a million little girls lol. I still want a daughter, and i'm hoping baby #2 is a girl. =) You're daughter is adorable

My first one was a boy, yeah I like the older brother watching out for the younger sister. So hopefully I will have a girl but with my luck I will have another wild boy. But I guess it would be more interesting.

I told my fiance i think the ideal family is 2 of each. This way each child has a brother and a sister and gets to experience the joys of having each. Now i know many families dont have that and life is still wonderful, knowing my luck i would try for that 2 of each and end up with all 4 boys. I have 2 brothers and 1 sis and i love it!!

I had a beautiful son first and a beautiful daughter 5 years later...he was so sweet the day we brought her home from the hospital he held her hand the whole way....however....reality set in quickly...she was loud and he was so quiet.....oh geez...it was a tough few years....now 15 years later...she is amazing (oh and so is my son!) thanks for the question!
