Memorial Day is coming up and I'm sure many of you will be having outdoor parties and/or barbeques. What is your favorite thing to bring to this kind of a holiday party? Do you bring dessert, salad or appetizer? Here is my recipe for cole slaw, which is really easy and takes about five minutes or so to make: A head and a half of cabbage (green or both green and purple) one half carrot Three tablespoons of mayonnaise and a tablespoon of mustard. Salt and pepper to taste. Thinly slice cabbage and julienne one half carrot. Blend together, but don't pack. Add the mayo, mustard, salt and pepper. You can also add a little vinegar to this as well or leave out the mayo altogether and just use vinegar alone with some seasonings. It goes great with barbequed hamburgers and hotdogs!
