eye contact and smiling

When you talk to somebody especially strangers how often do you keep the eye contact.Do you stare at only one eye or both eyes or look alternatively at both eyes.I have a tendency to develop smile while talking looking at the eyes,however serious be the matter,especially when the session is longer.I don't know whether it is any abnormality.Please share your views

i subconciously look into a woman eyes and smile if i am attracted to them, if its a guy or someone i dont like i tend not to unless its really serious!

I keep the eye contact enough to suggest attention, but not enough- to be aggressive. I look with both my eyes. And it depends of the conversation will i smile or not.
