What do u think of cohabitation?

Many couple just live together without getting into any social commitents,they stay together as long as they can and quit(bye-bye)if it isn't working.It's becoming a norm nowadays.This may be norm or in vogue elsewhere too.
What are your thoughts about these?
Is liveing together better option or does it make the relationship more meaningful when a couple decide to get married and preserve the social customes?

I think cohabitation works for most people. You either get married or not. It may seem frivolous on my part in saying so, but do consider the consequences of finding out that your supposed life-partner is not whom you imagined them to be. Cohabitation can prevent future divorces or being stuck in unhappy marriages. You get to know the person at a more intimate level as you see them in their home surroundings.
