why do we enjoy reading?

me myself loves reading novels, stories .......... but i wonder sometimes as to y do we like reading???
someone says coz we relate to those characters for some its just fun....... so y do u like reading???

i like reading very much.because i can obtain many knowledge from reading. i can experience what the author have experienced in his life. and i also can communicate with the author by reading , i can talk to him and share his feeling and thinking . it is quite wonderful. i enjoy reading very much.

A human being I feel is a creative and imaginative creature, when we read novels then our imagination takes us along with the novel to a separate world and we enjoy the experience.
