Sometimes movies that I like don't have mass appeal and end up as commercial flops. Nevertheless, they are still listed as great in my books. One movie like that is the cult classic, Six String Samurai directed by Lance Mungia.
Being a rock head, the music from the movie was the first thing that caught my attention. Written and played mostly by the Red Elvises, the electric guitar play blew me away.
In spite of the bad acting, laughable plot and weak one liners, the main character Buddy (played by Jeffrey Falcon) has some kick @55 moves and swordplay.
Does anyone else have a favorite 'bad' movie?

Wow, I don't think I've ever seen Six String Samurai mentioned on the web before. I wouldn't even really call it a "bad" movie because I think it's intended to be tongue in cheek. Definitely one of my favorites in the "B" category. Lots of fun, and great music.

I'm watching this movie right now, actually! :) We found it "On Demand," and so we decided to give it a shot because we were really bored. We thought it was going to be really atrocious, but it's actually pretty amusing! :)
Aside from that, I'm a huge fan of "Rocky Horror Picture Show," which is seriously a bad movie if you really watch it. I also love the sequel to "Rocky Horror," which is called "Shock Treatment," and it's REALLY bad.
