Yes, I do. It is better to choose a best response among the responses you receive from others. If you get a lot of responses then the task is difficult. If you get hardly any response, then the task of choosing the best response ir even more difficult. One should wait for getting adequate response before awarding the best response title.

I always try to giive a best response on my discussions. This may take a while until I can decide whose response I like the best or I might be able to make my decision right away based on the way I react to a certain response. This lets the people who responded to my discussion know that I have read them and thought about the value of the responses.
