how many people can leave work at the office instead of bring it home with them. You know that I have seen many great couples start having problems due to the fact that the hussle and bussle of the work day is brought into the home. And they take it out on each other. What would be some ways to stop this?

Mainly two reasons make people take office work home REGULARLY. To impress the employer about his sincerity. To make sure that he is worth more than two people. Both these are to ensure that the MAN is not sacked! Actually a man need work only less than 8 hours per day. Even animals left to themselves will not "work" [catching the prey] for more than 3-4 hours per day. The good and bad for man started with his change in role from consumer to producer.[ The change from hunter to agriculturist ] Industrial Revolution of 18th century made a rocket jumb in the life of man.Production of goods seemed limitless. So was profit. Money accumulated makinf it a source of power. Politics, the science of governance ceased to be based on people for whom it was meant. Political power became synnonymous to money power----amassed by running industries. So industrialists joined together Corporate Concerns, who wanted limitless profit by increasing production, bringing down: production charges by automation, by reducing number of employees, increasing their work load on the threat of loosing job. Thus we can see that "home- also- working employees are a product of the faceless enterprenourship of insatiable greed for money/political power. Unless and until the money power is defeated by positive man power, this state of affairs will go from bad to worse only.

I have to agree with you on that one. People are too busy looking at how much instead of the free things in life. The morning sky, the blooming flowers, ect. We have come to believe that we always have to be better than the Jones and thats far from what our founding fathers wanted us to become. If people would go back to the love of family, friends, and nature than we will be a better nation. But thats not going to happen due to the fact of the MIGHTY DOLLAR.

I agree this will not happen in our days but maybe if we teach our children the "old fashion" ways of life maybe it will take the next generation back to where we need to be.

A day may dawn. No! I am sure it will. When people will realize the pleasure of "simplle living and high thinking". A cosumerist society, hungry for more and more has made itself so dangerous and foolish as a man cutting the branch of a tree sitting on it. In a democratic set up we get the government and society we deserve. The common people will have to study how to deserve. That has to take place with in decades.

i leave whatever is at work at work. when i get back home, i won't think of work at all, until the next day when i have to get up to go to work. i know some people who are so stressed with their work, they actually let it out on me. ugh. i hate it when that happens because although i too am busy and am stressed out, but i don't use that excuse to be angry or neglect others. .

Great!!! Most bring it home to talk to their partner about and it goes from there because every thing that happen during the day is re-lived. I think its best to leave it there until you open that door the next day.
