my oldest son weighed 6 lbs 5 oz at birth, he was 3 weeks premature and we both were anemic. he was also jaundice, and i had the choice to keep him at the hospital or take him home with me and lay him on a bed in the sun a few hours a day for his jaundice, i didn't want to leave him so i took him home. he had to wear little patches on his eyes in the sun. my second child was 2 weeks overdue and weighed 8 lbs 6 oz. the doctor almost did a c-section because he was so big for my size, but i finally had him naturally after about 10 hrs of hard labor.

My elder son was 8lbs 2oz, delivered at 40weeks, 2 days from due date. It was an emergency C-Section. My younger son, who is now 2 months old was delivered at 36weeks. He was only 5lbs 8oz, also delivered via emergency C-Section. So my OBGYN says that if I were to have a third child , I will definately have to have a planned C-Section, there is no chance for a normal delevery.

I am unmarried, but my cousin when he was born weighed 4.5 Kgs and so his Mom had to undergo a caesarian delivery. I have to mention here that his elder brother, his mother all weighed 4.5 Kgs on their birth. It is normal for a child to weigh 3 kgs at birth.

My son was 6 pounds 15 ounces. I had to have an emergency c-section with him because as he was trying to come down the birth canal the cord wrapped around his neck and was cutting his air off when he kept trying to come down. They didn't know what was happening and they kept putting oxygen on me and it wasn't helping him so they decided to do the emergency c-section and that's when they found out the cord has wrapped around his neck.
