Untold family secrets...

I think everyone of us thought of our families to be spotless, but at some point have you discovered the skeletons in the closet? Well I have, a couple years back. I have not really confirmed it with other family members or relatives for I do not want to bring up past issues. But a family member who's very close to me disclosed that information to me. So if you have, how do you deal with these untold family secrets? Do you go out of your way to know what is the truth behind what was told, or would you even bother to find out about it or just leave it as it is. Afterall, we can't bring back the past and change things. I basically just put it aside. I have that knowledge but I do not really act upon it, probably because I don't see the need, like it will benefit noone anyways so why spill?
