I have a scratch on my oak dining room table.

Do you have any suggestions on what I need to do to take care of this scratch? I know I can buy some scratch stuff made by Endust, I think but I was wondering if there was something that I had here at home that might do just as well.

My grandfather used to rub a walnut on scratche's in his furniture and the oil would help to disguise it. Hope that this can help you in some way. Good luck.

That is a good idea! Thanks so much. I had not ever heard of that suggestion before. Thanks for the response.

Not too sure, but what about a crayon of that color to fill it in. Don't know if it will work or not, just a suggestion.

Oops, sorry I replied from my e-mail the suggestion of the crayon, and hadn't read the previous response until after I replied. I guess it was such a far out suggestion after all.
