How much water do you drink in a day?

I am trying to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. I have been trying to do this for quite a while. I can tell a big difference when I do not drink enough water in a day. I just don't feel as well as I should. Drinking a glass of water before a meal does help me from eating quite as much at the meal. I haven't gotten to the point to drink a glass of water first before I eat a snack. I think I'll start that maybe now. LOL How much water do you drink in a day?

That is one way to get more exercise, to drink more water because we make more trips to the bathroom. LOL All works together there, doesn't it? Thanks for the response.

In summer, I will drink 3 bottles of water in a day, but in winter, I drink only one glass of water, I don't like to drink hot water. I often drink a bottle of water when I get up, then I will drink a bottle of water during the afternoon, then I drink a bottle of water three hours before I go to bed. I feel very good when I drink 3 bottles a day, my skin looks very comfortable, now. Last year, my skin is too dry, and I look much over my real age. Then I begin to drink more water and do more excises everyday.

I dont know exactly but I should be around 4 - 5 litres a day. It is adviced to drink 5 litres of water everyday so as to have normal body functioning. As you said with insufficient amount of water you feel tired and restless always wanting to lie down and not willing to do any work. Water acts as a medicine in many ways....In summer if you drink sufficient amount of water it will prevent you body from dehydration. It will also help you avoid sun stokes. So keep drinking as much water as you can.

I probablly drink in total around 8 glasses a day. Althogh my drinks are usually like half a cup, it adds up throughout the day, as I usually try to drink in between tasks or during a break. Its refreshing. You only start to realize how good water is once you go almost a day without water (long story, played sports without bringing water)

Hi,mamacathie! On average,I drink water about 2-3L per day, maybe in summer and fall,I drink more than this figure. There is a kind of 2L bottle of water in our cafeteria, so that I buy 2 bottles almost everyday.Drinking water is good for health expecially in hot summer and fall.:) Moreover,I'm on dieting so that drinking more water can make me feel full. :)

I drink 8 to 10 glasses of water per day.As 60%to 70% of our bady is made up of water, therefore it is clear more the water is given to our body more the benefits regarding health can be availed from our body system. Also, we remain stressfree and metabolic + catabolic + ph.of our body functions properly. We fall less ill in comparision to those whose water intake capacity is less. Those who are worried about face pimples and acme drinking much water is panecea for them.

I only actually drink one bottle of water each day, which is what i take to work with me. The rest i drink as part of other drinks, rather than plain water. In actual fact although our bodies need about 8 glasses of water a day, we don't need to drink quite that much since we get a lot of water from our food. This article from the snopes website backs up my point: http://www.snopes.com/medical/myths/8glasses.asp I think you should really just try to drink whenever you are thirsty!

I think I drink about 4-16oz bottles. Not really enough I don't think, I should try and do better. I get headaches and feel miserable if I don't drink all 4 bottles. I think it goes a long way though to flushing out your body of toxins and making you feel better overall!

Yes, I agree with you. IT flushes all the impurities out of our bodies and that is what we need to flush them out quick before they can take up residence in our bodies. Thanks for you response.
