I was injured on the job and have had continual problems ever since. Boss seems to find reason to openly find fault with my work even though co workers state on my work days we all work harder and i never slow down even when i am in severe pain. They state that things are clean, more organized, on my week of work(rotating schedules) than on my off week. Even Though I am on restricted duties I do things i know i should not do just to keep the boss happy but, no matter what boss is not happy with anything I do. I am going to try to seek to be put out on permanent disabiltiy due to stress and job not allowing me to heal. How would any one else handle this sitution?

I guess you are in a bit of tricky situation. You need to stand back a bit and assess that whether the boss was like this even before you got injured or did he change after you got injured. If he was the same, then the reason you are feeling so might be because you are on restricted duties, else you might have a reason to worry. In any case, the best thing is to have a talk first with your boss to find out what his feelings are. If you still feel that he is harassing you then you need to consider your options. I would not suggest that you should put your health at stake as jobs are temporary and you can get another, but health once lost cannot be found again. Cheers! Ram

First, you are covered under the American's with Disabilities Act for Discrimination and Harassment because of your disability. You should immediately go online to the Department of Justice and get a form to file a formal complaint against your employer for Discrimination and Harassment. All the form requires is you to tell what happened and they do the rest. You need no lawyer. This will get you no money. But proving your case will help prove the second point below. Second. Do not, I repeat do not file for stress. Workers Compensation Judges rarely validate stress complaints and it is very unlikely you would win. File for worsening of your condition caused by pressure from your employer to return to work, keep working, and perform beyond your physical abilities. You can no longer do it. Present your medical documentation. Judging from your story, you will win, but it might take a while because everything in workers comp takes a long time. Good luck.

In your place, I would stop doing things I shouldn't do and look for some relief. YOu might report your mistreatment to the worker's comp board, and think about getting an attorney. Companies that behave this way when you are injured often persist once you get better because they want to force you to quit the job. If you stop working there it is more difficult for you to get care if there is a complication from the injury that you suffered while there.

This may sound odd but try watching "God please give me more time" in crunchyroll.com I think whatever discrimination we receive, we should stand up and lift our heads for we should not be shy about it. After all we are not stealing anything, you are even trying your best. Just do what you need to do and what you want to do and that'll help you achieve your dreams.
