Anyone else noticed that if you run mylot with yahoo or msn that it conflicts?

No, I don't notice that. My Yahoo and MSN on 24/7. When I use Mylot, no page blank out. One thing i notice is Mylot takes long time to load whenever i load a discussion, post a response or post a photo. It is slow even with MSN/Yahoo Off.

Oh right, you just answered a question.. I opened Yahoo messenger the other day and everything froze - I thought it was a software problem on my drive. I had to re-boot, but has been OK since, but only opened messenger when not on line with mylot.. That's a bit of a pain... :-(

Nope it is not only you, it happens to me all the time . When I have Yahoo messenger opened, my mylot runs very slow and is sluggish. That is why now when I am on mylot I do not sign into yahoo messenger. My friends hate that I am not on as much but without mylot I wouldn't be ab;e to talk to them at all because I use the proceeds from mylot to pay my internet and occasionally help pay my phone bill. I have invited them all to mylot and to talk to me through private messages that way, a few joined but they do not do anything on mylot maybe just occasionally to get on to say hey get on yahoo need to talk to you and thats all. Do you mean chatting in Yahoo Messenger? Cause I have chatted at the same time and not had problems with myLot running slow while chatting. Or at least nothing that I have noticed. I even have my Yahoo Mail open at the same time because that is where I have myLot notifications sent. Couldn't send it to my regular email...my Mom's poor emails would be lost in myLot notifications. ha ha As it is, I have over 400 notifications unread in my Yahoo Inbox. Ouch! But I have been ill and having a hard time at responding with my norm. Sorry I could not be any more help. Blessed Be.

Hmm no that didn't ought to happen, actually it shouldn't even be possible, try to scan your computer for spyware and virus, you may have a problem.

Eskarena, I run both msn and mylot all the time and don't usually have any problems. While I'm here I am often chatting with my daughter on msn and it works well for me. I don't know about yahoo because I don't use it much, but a friend of mine seems to be able to run yahoo with my lot as well. I just don't know if she ever runs into problems.

Hmmmmm no I haven't and I have Yahoo on all the time normally but I will try it without and see if I can see a Difference on it I will try it tomorrow

I run Yahoo IM all the time and have no conflicts. Must be your server or computer? Not sure why it would slow it down.

My internet connection has been so unstable for the past month since I downloaded Explorer 7 that I was unsure if it was a conflict or my Explorer causing me grief again

It doesn't happen to me. I alway have yahoo running.

I have never tried doing this but I believe that it could happen as different programs slow down the various functions of others.

no it is not with any sites. without opening any of these also mylot shows blank pages sometimes. mylot admin has to see what is the problem.
