I think Sachin Tendulkar should open the innings. He is a very good opening batsman. I think Sachin can get most runs in the 20 overs restrictions. I think Sachin Tendulkar is one of the clean strickers of bowls. Also, if he is in good form I think he should bat the full 50 overs. This will helps to increase the team net runrate as well as increase the team overall score.

I think opening is the best position for Sachin in ODI. He has scored most of his runs and centuries as an opener. Sachin can provide good solid start at the begining and thus can set the match. He can control the game from the begining he comes at opening whereas if he comes one down or two down he will not be able to play his natural game and would come under pressure. I think that Sachin is world's best batsman and he should not be wasted by making him bat in the middle
