As of late there have been a VAST amount of discussions dealing with etiquette. What's happened to it. Whatever happened to the "thank yous', "please", "You're welcome", Ma'am", "Sir" all this type of things. Seems most have gone downstream in the past 20 years or so. Now after seeing so mnay I went surfing for some fun times. Here's a site that deals qwith the issues of ettique. It's a blog and a forum all in one. I surfed this site and founf some hilarious examples of various etiquette mishaps etc. Check this site out and read some as I am sure you'll get a good laugh for the day. Thanks in advance and have a great day/eveing all.

Yes there are some indeed hilarious things in this site which I can very much relate. I have bookmarked this site because to tell you the truth Grandpa Bob, I had made some blunders also. he he he! It's embarrassing to think of them now. Ouch! I find this very helpful. Thanks very much for sharing!

I am not sure what happened to etiquette in this world, but it sure is disappearing at warp speed. I know I teach my daughter to say thank you, please, maam and sir. I will not tolerate disrespect of elders in my home or anywhere we visit. She is very polite to adults and I am very proud of her for that. I will have to check this site out! I am sure it is hilarious.

I think it is sad to see a lot of the younger generation disrespecting their elders and being greedy!!
I have my son, in his limited verbal skills, saying thank you when he recieves something and please when he asks for something. I feel this is realy important!
Here is a story of my own to add to your discussion here...
My Uncle (Mom's oldest brother) always calls his only Aunt and Uncle by their first names!! He is 67 years old and this is completely unnecessary!! This greatly disturbes me!!No disrespect to my Uncle but I know he was not rasied this way!!
Thanks for another great discussion Grandpa Bob and hope you have a great week-end!! :)
Say "hi" to your Dad for me! :)

I will tell him Hi in the morning at the breakfast table. I had family friends not relatives as a child that I was taught to call Aunt and Uncle out of respect. Never their first names.
