Where is the best site for chatting???

What sites do you like? To chat and meet new people online? I would like to meet some new people online to chat with and am looking for some new good sites I could check out. I am a member of myspace, I have met a few good people there, but as far as online chatting or a place to go just to meet people, with perhaps the same interests as your own?

Well i am a member of plenty of myspace type of communities but if you are going for just simple chatting i guess mirc is the best program to meet new people and make friends as its the place just for chatting and you cant do anything else in their.

When i was entusiast of chatting, my favourite place was the chat of dir.bg. This is one of the first portals here. I also visited some specialized chats and irc channels. Now i prefer more to visit forums.

I have AOL as my ISP so I chat often in the chat rooms there. I mostly chat in the Friends of BillW rooms. BillW is the co-founder of A.A. I've met a lot of great people there and have traveled up to 500 miles to actually meet one going to an A.A. meeting in their hometown. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~
