How do you think of the work experience of students union in college?

I am one member of students union.My original purpose of entering into students union is to pratice myself and accumulate some work experience which must be useful for future in my opinion at that time.But now I realize that it is not a good place to pratice and the accumulated work experience is unuseful at all.Maybe just such experience will benefit to me when I look for a job.
What about your opinion?Is it the same as me?

Hello,mialolin,I think it is a very good experience for you to work in the student union,no matter what position you are at,you can still put it onto your resume,when you have job application,you will be more competitive to other candidates. You may never know whether the experience you accumulated will be useful or not unless similar situation arises again.It is never a bad thing to learn more when you are at the college or you will regret if you have no experience in the college after you graduate.
