In India it appears dofs freely bites and men and women die of dog bite.None bother and take action. Why this happens ? There are people who are against to kill these stray dogs in the streets. If that is the case, they should do something if they dont want to kill. Actually one could hardly find these municipality people involved in catching street dogs with their vehicles.Only if the locality people complain in large numbers these people do their duties. Our Government is very silent in this matter and the organisations which are against the street dog killings are also keeping calm. These dogs get together ans sometimes bark at something which is real nuisence for people. Also they bark at people who go for early morning walking.

Dont you think dogs too got rights to live. Many measures have taken to avoid the stray dog menace. You can complain to the corporation if stray dogs trouble you. Within 24 hours they will reach your area with dog catching van. Government vetararians inject the stray dogs, to make them not to produce further. Actually they stay quiet, when you shout at them or act, as if you pick up a stone from the ground.

Also government has opened many health centres in all the areas to give the rabbis injection, for the dog bite. It is done free of cost.

Actually in our country nobody is bothered about real problems.Actually these stray dogs haveto be taken & sterised .There is government program about this.but hardly anything is being done.Ans a simple person we have to suffer. It is also not correct to just take this dogs & mercilessly kill them as all are not like that.It is really pathatic to see our mumnicilality people doing nothing at all.At times they will come only when there is some agitation.

Subathra I'm writing the same response which i gave a to another post. Thats a terrible thing to happen.I too saw this news on TV and was really shocked. What a shame indeed to have a life lost in such an uncalled for reason. The administration wakes up only after the damage has been done.No matter how much you raise an alarm,no one pays heed until the ugly consequences take place. The place where I live is a beautiful one and very well administered. But here too the menace of stray dogs is on the rise.Even during evening walks and when children are playing in the parks, these dogs keep hovering around barking viciously. When bringing this to the notice of security guards and other concerned personnels, they take it as a very trivial matter making you look like a hyper paronoid person to have lodged such a complain. So,this is the irony ravee and what a price many a times we have to pay.Just think about the family of the innocent little boy. I pray that no life is lost in future due to this.

the problem is that the population of dogs is allowed to expand. My solution to the problem is if these dogs are spayed or neutered. I am a vegetarian and respect animal and human life, but sometimes it is better if animals, particularly ones that pose a real threat to humans, or those that are in great pain are put down.

well it is noticed that if dogs hv rabis they can kill so if such dog should bite someone i think anything can eventually happen to such person. the fact that dogs freely bites in india it looks strange u know. i think such dogs should be killed because u can't espect that a dog will just bite someone like that without anything been done. i think the govt should do something about that. because its not fair and u cannot kill them. lnfact that should be stoped.

The people die because the dogs are sick there in India because the people dont take care of them. They dont take them to the vets to have their shots. So of course the dog is sick. And of course they have become mean. What do you expect?

Sounds like a real problem.I love dogs but people should take better care of them.I've been chased by more than a few dogs and they scare the hell out of me.There's supposed be leash laws but alot of people don't abide by them.
