not sure if everyone has the practise of taking photographs for a 'professional' album. where did you go for it and was it enjoyable? most people find it very tiring. i found mine enjoyable and we went to three outdoor locations so it wasn't so bad.

Congrats on your upcoming wedding! I too enjoyed my outdoor shots. I had mine over at Johor Bahru (I'm a Malaysian) so cost-wise, it was a big saving.

I am looking forward to it actually. Where did you go? Can you share the locations of where you went? Which one, in your opinion, is the best for the locations you went? We actually spent the last few weekends surveying gardens and places of interest to see where we can go for the nicer shots. There were so many! My wife is surfing around to look for nice spots and found the lallang growth in Punggol facinating... but I don't drive, so yet to find the place. Any idea how we can get there without a car?

Yes you should look forward to it cos it's fun! I think it's best to pick places that 1) you like the architecture / scenary 2) special meaning to your wife and yourself Definitely don't recommend sentosa. too common - apparently a friend saw 6 couples in the few hours she was relaxing at its beach. i went to botanic gardens (lots of different back grounds to take). S.A.M, and club street cos we like the local peranakan shophouse feel. it was hazy when we took so we skipped the beach/skyline shots. yr photographer should have a car. and limit the number of places if 1) you don't want to be too tired 2) you don't want to have major headache choosing photos later. Photos are the major source of revenue for wedding shops - which one did you choose btw? For the same reason 2), also don't have too many changes of clothes or hairdos.

I understand what you mean. But bo pian. If my wife likes it, and the budget permits, will give it to her. We are only young once, and the wedding is one of THE biggest event in one's lifetime. SAM...where is that? Our studio is DiGio. Yours?

I photographed a cousins wedding using mostly a photojournalist style because I'm just not very creative when I comes to posing people. I brought a friend with me that was more into art photography so we made a good team. I was very nervous at first, but I really enjoyed it once we started rolling and I've been asked to photograph weddings since then but haven't been able to because of school. If you are going to photograph a wedding I recommend having a second photographer or assistant with a different style than you.
