I HATE the Geico Caveman!

Just read on an entertainment site about the new "comedy" series ABC has picked up, based on the Caveman from the Geico commercials. HUH? What do they hope this will be, "Friends" with fur? Besides being a rather limited premise, I simply cannot abide looking at those ugly faces! There's a good reason why those suckers went extinct, nobody would mate with them! And to make it worse, the most recent commercial in the airport makes them look as dumb as we always thought they were. In it, the caveman stands in front of an ad in the airport, on the phone, apparently complaining about the insulting poster not being removed. He says into the phone, "Well, apparently not, because it's on the wall in front of me, 4 feet by 5 feet." Any 6 year old looking at the poster could tell you it's far wider than it is high, more like 4 feet by 8 feet. HATE IT! For our international friends, Geico was one of the first car insurance companies in the U.S. to do business on the 'net in a big way, and their slogan is, "Geico.com - So easy a caveman could do it!"
