What do you call your remote control?

Was considering slapping my man, as he has been shouting "plonker" at me for the past 10 minutes, but then realised he was asking for the tv remote control! What's your alias for this handy little invention?

we don't have another name for the remote. But if my husband tried I would smack him side the head if it wasn't in another language. We have enough kids and animals to try and keep the names striaght now. Let alone try and remember another name for a remote.
