I was overweight(73 kg), relative to my height, up to about 5 years ago. The more compelling need to shed some weight came when I learnt from some health websites that gastrointestinal diseases relieve one better with reduced weight. Following the specified food regimen, I started on a weight-reduction journey that landed me at 62 kg within 4 to 6 months. The regimen consisted of low fat, low carbohydrate, low cream diets, reduced food rations, low or no-sugar drinks, some regular exercise(I jogged and now play table tennis). The regimen can work for you, too. Good luck.

Try using less oil in your cooking; reduce the consumption of fried foods, creamy milk or pastes; use only a little sugar; avoid soft drinks; cut down on red or fatty meats, carbohydrates, white bread; eat more of lean meats, fruits and vegetables; do some regular exercise. Remember, you hardly can eat your cake and have it. Self-denial is the word. Good luck.

Technically I've been losing weight for the past 6 months but it doesn't really count. My youngest was born in November so I've been slowly losing the extra weight. I've just been eating really heathy mostly but I'm nursing so I've been taking in extra calories. That's why it's coming off slowly. I'm almost at a good weight for my height but I still have a lot of "pudge" and a big roll of loose skin to deal with. My plan is to keep my diet the same or improve it even more and exercise more to get things firmed up again. I'm down about 20-25 pounds from what I was 2 weeks before the baby was born.

I have a story up if you would like to read it. I have lost over 200 pds in 3 years. Countless pounds and inches gone as well as dress sizes. Ainge
