I live for my family and for God's purpose for me. I don't know what God plan about me but I think I have to be in that plan. To live for that. Or maybe I am already living with it with my family and my son.

This is a very thought-provoking question. I can see how it can stop someone in their tracks and make them think. I think the answer changes by the day or the current experience. Some days I live for the hope I feel inside, some days I live only because my kids need me and it would hurt them so much if I was not here by my own doing, some days every little thing I see or hear makes me smile..from the birds singing to new leaves on the trees, to a pretty old barn in the middle of a field in the country. I think mostly, I live because the alternative is something I am not ready for. There is so much I want to learn and experience, so much I want to build with my children (in their memories) to sustain them and make them smile when my time is up, and I am not willing to end my own life. It will be interesting to see your responses.

thank you for replying. i am still thinking. i live for my parents, it is becacuse my parents care me so much more than anyone in the world.my family is not rich, but my neighborhoods are so rich. when i was a child,i felt it was unfair for my parents to live such a simple life while my neighborhoods difference. from then on, i told myself that i have must make my parents live wonderful life and also are proud of me. but now i just hope my parents happy and live longer, keep health. what i live for ...? it is a tough question. thank you very much.

I think most people are pursuit of certain career or achieving something great, which can meet their desire. But it's quite difficult to pursue the career you are dying for sometimes. Some time ago, I am always working for my goal, doing everything to attain it and I did a good job. But finally I only to find it impossible or quite difficult to reach. And now I am at sea... But I know one thing that the career stuff, love stuff or anything else stuff consist of our whole life, any one is by no means our whole life, but all these constitute of the life, which means that except one of these we still have anther to pursue. So hold the hope and do something within your touch.

God made this world and creatures,we are alive we have to live can be the simple answer, but spiritually talking there is a purpose,God sent us to this world with some purpose, and we are to do it,to become a good human being is very difficult in this world,to be one and passing through many tests in life and be successful and a good human being i think, those who believe in spiritual life will understand this,i think even i am confused

Well, I have thought about this a lot lately, because if I didn't have my son and my husband...I'm not sure what I would live for. I am a stay at home mom so I don't get out much and I love my son and my husband and I can't imagine what else in my life I live for. So here it is...I am going to try to make people smile. Because I don't live for going to work- I don't live for meeting famous people or anything like that. I think my goal in life is going to be make people smile. If I can make someone's day better just by saying hello or telling them a joke or that I like their shirt then my life will be worth something. If I die, I will know that not only did my family and friends benefit from my existence, but strangers did too.

What am I living for? It's more like asking for my purpose. I live for my Creator. Who, what, and where we are, is God's perfect plan for us. What we do with our lives must be in response to His great love for us. We need to thank Him, grow into a wonderful relationship with Him and live our lives pleasing to Him and giving Him greater glory.

I live for my parents more than live for myself. In fact, if one can live for himself, that is the happiest thing in the world, I think. But few man like this in the world. We got many responsibilities while we were born. We couldn't live alone, we have the hopes from our parents, lovers, etc. For me, because my parents dedicate all which they can do to me, I must try to help them achieve their hopes, and let them live comfortably and happily. If I was not be with them, I couldn't imagine the suffering they would take.I don't wanna see their disappointment,so I always try to be a good child . I am also glad that I did it,because my parents are really proud of me. But I know that I have to work harder. There is a long way for me to go if I want to give them comfortable and happy life. If you can make the people around you be happy, you will feel that you are the happiest people in the world. But it is not easy. I hope that all of people will have their goals in life, that will make the life meaningful.
