Do/did you take piano or other music lessons?

I begged and begged myparents to buy me a piano so I could learn how to play. And eventually they did and got me lessons. And I hated it!! I didn't like having to sit there and practice every day for like an hour...maybe it was longer I don't remember. But I do remember sitting at my piano one day and just crying my eyes out because I didn't want to practice....but my mom made me because they spent all that money buying a piano and paying for lessons. It was okay once I got over the fact of hating it =) And I did some recitles and played at church. But I don't anymore so it wasn't very benificial for me =)
