Do you like the taste of any combinations of food that are really odd to put with each other? I had a friend who liked to eat raw potatoes (grss enough) dipped in chocolate sauce! I used to mix Coco Pops with squirty cream. I also like dipping my crisp in a cupa soup! What about you?

i am now thinking whether i will try having this on my next sandwich. i might like it or maybe i will not. as for the peanut butter spread plus maple syrup, that is surely gret tasting. it is one of my favorites.

Ok, now this is going to sounds really crazy, but I swear it's good. Plus you wanted to know a way to "spice" up your oatmeal without a lot of sugar. My method is literally "spicey":-)
I like making Irish oatmeal, when I have time, I got the slow cook kind, and when I'm in a rush, instant is fine too. Rather than adding syrup, or fruit or sugar, I take a more savory route. Instead, I add salsa and cheese to my oatmeal! I know this probably sounds awful, but it's really good. The oatmeal tastes like nothing before you add anything, so you are working with a totally blank palette. I'm much more of a savory person than sweet so this really works for me. Plus I have a favorite salsa from Trader Joe's that I love.
Maybe give it a try if you are feeling adventerous;-)

most people find it weird that i love to dip my bread in warm milk. i do this to biscuits, too. i also find it good to have cheese and marmalade sandwiches. some of my friends frown at this.
