Phillip and Belle again?

First off I don't think Belle loved Phillip in the way a wife should love a husband. Her heart will always belong to Shawn. I have a DVR ane fast forward through Phillip and that lowlife Willow. Love the new and nicer Sami. New Orleans should give us some answers......Was Sami showing? Hate Patch aka Steve right now. I started watching Days in High School with my Mother when it first began, along with Another World. I miss Another World.

I don't think that Belle ever really loved Phillip. She only got together with him after Shawn left town and disappeared because he was kidnapped by Jan. She turned for Phillip for comfort, especially when Shawn returned to town with amnesia. Belle and Shawn have always been in love and Phillip has always known it in the bottom of his heart. He deluded himself into thinking that Belle was in love with him and didn't want Shawn. The entire time Belle was pregnant with Clair and even after she had the baby she was thinking about Shawn. She was very jealous when Shawn and Mimi got married. She only stayed with Phillip out of obligation and because she does care about him a great deal. She has only ever loved Phillip as a friend, her heart has always belonged to Shawn. I think Phillip will be stupid if he trust Belle to stay with him and be a family with Claire.

I never really liked Philip and Belle as a couple, I'd much rather see Philip with Chloe just like they were years ago. Who knows, Chloe is back and that could eventually happen again (it's a soap so I have every reason to hope, right? ..haha). A recent posting on mylot indicates that Belle and Shawn are being dismissed from the show, so who knows??!!

I think Belle is playing Phillip to get back to safety- and be safe for Claire and Shawn. I think there is no way that she would ever go back to Phillip- She and Shawn are meant to be forever! I'm sure the show will turn back to this. and the 3 of them will end up together- Shawn, Belle, and Claire.

Well,we all know what happened but I think Belle needs to keep standing up to Philip like she has been and NEVER let her guard down where he's concerned

No, Belle isn't moving toward a romantic reconciliation with Phillip. Did she mean what she said to him? Yes, I believe she did. Maybe. It seems that she is trying to bring to Phillip's mind the way things used to be, when they were all friends and cared for one another. It probably is the best way to handle Phillip, afterall. I mentioned in another post about Phillip and his psychotic behavior when he was trying to regain Chloe's affection. This dude just does NOT handle rejection very well. The only way to snap him out of the psycho-Phillip mode was to appeal to his good sense and his heart. This is just what Belle is doing. If Belle can just get Phillip to agree that there will be no more fighting, and if she can just convince Shawn and his hard-headed self, things would calm down and be better for all involved. Then again, it could be entertaining if Belle lulled Phillip into a false sense of security, then threw him overboard. I wonder how well he can swim. Frankly, I'm tired of psycho-Phillip and I would very much love to see this storyline END, so we can move on to better things.
