I had one right after high school ended and before I had a job. It's a huge mistake if you don't manage it correctly. If you are using it for GPT trial offers, it might be better off getting a Visa Gift Card from your bank (if they offer it in your area). My bank offers them without fees for people with an account.

Its as possible as it is stupid. How are you going to pay the bill with no income? When you miss a payment they'll tack on late fees and increase your interest rate putting you even further into debt. By the time you get out of college you'll be so in debt you'll be working for years just to pay it off.

yes you can get a credit card without working, but is it really a good idea? it is a way of storing up debt and getting in to trouble for later blessed be

why would u get a credit card while u are not employeed...how do u plan to make the montly payments..credit cards have very high interest rates and as soon as u miss a payment your credit is down the toilet and you will have kinds of late fees and your interest rate will change....u don't need a credit card......

anytime....and good choice...i work in the financial field and see people who don't need credit cards get them and then they end up falling because they can't make the payments...also once u are delinquent on a credit card it will show on your credit negatively for up to 7 years....

Yes you can have a credit card of your own but I will suggest you to stay away from the credit card as you are not working because you can overused the card even you have no emergency which will cause you touble later on. So better to get employed first then thinking of getting a credit card.

Even my paypal a/c is not verified but its no big deal because still you can withdraw 500$ per month through cheque and I don't think 500$ is a small amount and then later on you can think of getting a credit card when your paypal limitaion of 3000$ is over.

It is so so possible for you to make a credit card. You may consult with your banking staff at where your bank account available. It does not matter that you are working or not. It is matter of you that where will you use it. You will pay for Credit Card service and banking staff are bound to serve you.

There are strict regulations here in my country so banks are not allowed to issue credit cards so liberally. Basically if you do not have a source of income then the only way to get a credit card is if someone gives you a supplementary card. Otherwise, if you do need a card, then the other way is to apply for a debit card. It's a little like a credit card. The only difference is that you need to put in some money into the bank in advance before they approve your card and you can only use up to a maximum of what you keep in the bank.
