are you a fan of fake tans?

now that its summer, tan skin is really in! however, there are some people who prefer to go to a tanning salon rather than get a natural tan at the beach. i dont know which one is better because i dont really go much to the beach. hehe.
so, what about you? are you a fan of fake tans? or do you really go au naturel at the beach and soak up some natural sun till you get tan? :)

I have used spray tan solutions(not OTC tanning lotions) for years and have never had a problem with orange streaky look...I would apply it with a sponge.
I bought a spray tan machine and started practicing on my 22 year old daughter and her friends and now do it as a mobile business.
I used to tan in uv beds and grew up at the beach but when I was in my 30s noticed that I was really starting to age, after stopping and using spray tan only and a good skin care regime I look younger now than I did 10 years ago...lol

I usually will tan in the tanning beds for the months of Feb, March and April. Once May hits I drop my membership and spend as much time outside as possible to keep my tan. I like going to the beach and getting a real tan best, but weather in Western NY doesn't cooperate all year long.

oh, and so far, fake tans have worked for you? you must have been getting it from professional tanning salons, right?

I definitely go to tanning salons. I wouldn't dare to use the sprays or lotions in fear of looking orange or streaking.

yes, you should only go to the professionals because a lot of people have been having accidents when they try to perform tanning by themselves. :)

One summer I tried to use that tan in a bottle stuff. Oh my god, it was horrible. Thank god I only used a little bit on my leg, because it made me bright orange. Fake tans are yucky. Just go get some sun safely!

i'm sorry about what happened to your leg. well, thanks for your advice, i wont use fake tans ever. i havent tried it though. :) but thanks for your advice. :)
